This little guy was enjoying the sunshine on Saturday morning when wifey was walking around the garden with macro lens ready. We used to have quite a few garter snakes until the cats decided they were their personal toys to play with. With Gumbo gone and Shroom old, hopefully we'll start seeing more of these beauties, at least until its time to bring home some new kitties.
Note the size of the maple squirt to judge this critter's diminutive size.
