Culebra's visiting vet will be here Wednesday (tomorrow if you are reading this post tonight, today if you see it in the morning) Feb. 20th.   His boat still isn't repaired so he is flying in, early.   Hours start by 8:00 AM.   Sign up will be started earlier.

A strong turn out today of pets and the people they own...along with some who are island dogs and cats brought in by the usual (caring and patient) suspects, all looking for homes (um, the animals, not the suspects - I'm pretty sure they all have homes). As of today they will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and ready to find a loving roof over their heads to call home.

The Cat Who Came to Stay, Orangina, is wobbling around post op, wondering what the hell happened to her. But what didn't and won't happen is new kittens who would have more kittens, eating the iguanas and birds for lack of homes. She may not appreciate it at the moment...but the rest of us do!
