I read the article (Teresa's in the CC April-08) regarding
my step-father "Mike Flores, A Good Friend We Miss". I
can't even begin to express how your article touched my
family and friends here in NY. I want to thank you for your
time and beautiful words you wrote about him. I also miss
him alot and have so many beautiful memories that I wish
I could share with many people. He was admired and loved
by so many friends, family and even strangers.
This Sunday(7/6) at 10 am in Culebra Catholic Church
,there will be a mass in his name. My mother, Fermina
Flores Soto, and sister, Miriam, will be there. I would love
to have all his family and wonderful friends he's gained there
as well. Please share this information with all that knew him
and would like to participate this Sunday in the Catholic Church.
Sincerely, Cookie (Mike's daughter)
Jim - I think we posted Mike's notice here in April, if not
Mike was one of those special guys, for years he ran the
mechanic/service shack at the Natural Resource Compound.
Great guy, good friend, always helping, and always a big smile.Attachment: Mike Flores.jpg (Downloaded 41 times) Last edited on Sat Jul 5th, 2008 12:27 am by Jim
