For those of you who might not have yet heard, please check out this weblink which describes a horrible event that occurred last week in Puerto Rico and was reported by AP throughout the United States, at least.  The Care2 Petition Site has a good petition going which also lists contact methods for the PR Governor.  Please sign the petition and send your comments to the Governor.  There are great people in PR who work hard for humane treatment of animals and animal welfare through spay/neuter programs, adoptions, and education, but they need the world's help to make the PR politicians take action to address animal abuse in Puerto Rico.  Thank you!

Thanks for the link Teresa.  I saw the article in our little Akron newspaper and was so upset when I read it!

Would someone please point me to an article about the abuse (I would like to read it before signing a petition).

Hi Abe -- this sickening story was all over not just national, but world news -- here is one link, but if you google it, you'll find hundreds of articles.

Awful - read about it in the Miami Herald this weekend. It made me sick!
