Just heard that the ferries are cancelled -- presumably until the seas die down.   Thirty (!) foot waves are forecast....   Would someone please verify that this is a valid news bulletin????
UPDATE:  Just listened to WOSO and an official speaking for the ferry system.   The 3:30 AM cargo ferry did go today, so hopefully some food may have gotten over here.   All the rest of the ferries are cancelled for today.   Passenger ferries are cancelled till at least Friday morning.   All this is quoting the transport official.

I assume that therefore there will be no gas delivery......

I have friends who got on the last cargo ferry out at 6:30 this morning - just called to check and they ARE on the ferry and it's pretty rough out there. She wouldn't guesstimate wave heights though (mainly because she's horizontal trying to stay as still as possible!). They were told they were definitely the last ferry leaving until this is over with.
