Hi Everyone,

One of my Owners just pointed out this article to me.

http://www.easier.com/view/Travel/Travel_Guides/article-101301.html

Flamenco is one of the winning beaches and takes December.

This seems to be a British website that is referring to an article in "The Travel Magazine".  I haven't been able to find the original article in The Travel Magazine yet.

I know all about impulsive acts but hugging trees isn't on the top of my impulsive act list.

I found that a little odd myself, and hope no one gets too delerious and hugs a manchineel tree!

More info & pics of this tree -

True story. I'm sitting at the cart one day and this couple comes by, telling me about the fact that the guy had seen this tree with "some fruit" on it. He promptly ate the fruit and was wondering why his mouth was now numb and he "wasn't feeling very well" - I told him to go immediately to the clinic, that there was a good chance he'd eaten manchineel. The girl grabs him and they hustle up the road. About two hours later they come back, he's been given something (I don't know, and doubt he did either). They were going to go back to their room and rest.
In the two hours in between...I had to wonder why someone would just eat something off of a tree they've never seen before. But I guess Paradise makes you do odd things sometimes...
