oh boy......is it paved all the way out? Must every road in Culebra be paved?? I remember the days where noone in their right mind ever drove to Soldado == it was a great, beautiful hike.....imagine the trash that will pile up there now....

I'm with Debbie. There is a development planned for Soní.

Right now the Teeritorial Plan mentions Soldado as one of
the place they want to improve for tourism. Now you know why we need
to fight this like banshees. It's not over yet.

oh great -- yet one more Culebra beach that everyone can drive to......next a road to Electric beach and Carlos Rosario will be paved.

Culebra was known for it's dirt roads. Doesn't tourism realize that fact alone was one of the primary reasons Culebra was so special????

In order to orient everyone, this is not the unpaved section down the hill to Soldodo.  It is a repaving of the section that got washed-out years ago, near the chickens and the piles of concrete left by Bahia Marina.  Is that better Mr. Spell Checker?

ok, that makes me feel a little better, but it still seems kinda silly to pave a road that leads to nowhere but a dirt road, but then again, maybe that's just me.....

I'm no spell checker, that would be Marsha. I continually type there for
their although I know better. The reason why wadding caught my fancy
is I thought it was a breed at first, I am no critic of spelling, sory. See i
just did it!

There IS a road being planned by the Dubon project, Villa Me Terruño, that
goes from the project's other side (facing Vieques) where there is planned
another Parador, it runs to cable beach and over the mountain to mini-mas
or to the dock if the bridge goes in! I'll try to get a copy and post it here!
I believe our fight has to go to Puerto Rico, 20,000 signatures and we
approach Fortaleza with a deal...Wanna help us? Back Off!

I'm pressing send withou checking spelling, I feel so nrml

How will the chickens cross the road? They'll be so disoriented after years of wash-out! :)
