OMG, this is such a great picture!!  I can't believe they sit so still to watch.  This looks like the kind of picture you would see on a greeting card, inside it says  "Missing You" or something cute and witty.

We have a resident chipmunk on our deck that thoroughly loves to taunt our dog.  With our balmy temps (we got up to 40!) he is back out and up to his old tricks again!

Thanks for sharing!

Bogart, the Culebra sato in the picture, actually meditates....he'll go outside and sit for hours just staring at the same spot without moving.....must be the spiritual side in him from the Sato blood.....if he could do yoga, I'm sure he would....

Wow, he sounds like an amazing dog!  Maybe our next dog should be a Culebran import!

Bogart is one of the best dogs ever (i have to be careful here -- I have two Culebra satos, and one NJ mutt, so I can't play favorites)......Saucy, my other sato is almost as good a dog....you are truly blessed if you can bring a Culebra sato into your lives....I haven't met one that wasn't a great dog....here's Saucy and her sister, Molly enjoying that other white stuff and their first coconut tree climb...

OMG!!  Saucy and her sister are too cute!!  I'll bet the sand can just get completely lost in all that fluffy hair, LOL!!  I love the underwater pic of the dogs swimming, too!  What a life they must have!!  We adopted a stray golden retriever that doesn't know how to swim!  He just leaps through the shallow water like a deer---he sure is lovable though!

BTW, did you have any problems bringing the satos back to the States?  I'm assuming you just flew them on the plane, but did you have to deal with any paperwork problems?  Oh, and how did you get them to San Juan?  I'm just making mental notes for future reference.

traveling is easy -- there is a wonderful vet, Dr. DeJesus that comes to the island once a month, and can provide you with the proper vaccinations and paperwork you'll need. If the dog is small enough, they can be in the cabin with you -- if not, they go with the luggage, and in that case most of the airlines won't let animals fly during certain temperature ranges for the animal's safety. there are loaner dog crates on the island -- there is a forum topic devoted to the animals.....

Thanks for the info!  I'm sorry to hijack the thread with dog talk, I do keep checking out the pictures of the dogs on the other topic.  I have some ideas brewing in my head, I'll post them there when I get further along in the process!

Thanks!
