Does anyone else have slow download times of the photos on SPUD?

I have dial-up and it takes forever due to the amount of images on that page.  Perhaps you could clear the page down to the most recent 3-4 images?  Don't get me wrong, I love the photos (professional quality) and will wait if necessary.  Thanks.

good point HIlman (by the way, welcome to the forum!!:D) I promise to give you plenty of advance notice before my next arrival so you can have the fire hoses ready (sick joke I know, but you weren't the only one ribbing me about the tendency of my arrival on island and fire)....

Your idea is a good one, and I'll suggest to Debbie that maybe she can start a new SPUD topic each week - that way you don't have to look at the older pics.....

Oh no - sorry! I am so used to living in modern conditions in Atlanta that I have forgotten that not everyone has the latest technology on Culebra.

I will break down the threads from now on.

BTW - I heard that DSL is now available on the island. Monika and Walter have it. They were never able to hook up to the wireless because of the location of the tower to their house - ironic, huh?

Thanks Admin/Debbie, I really appreciate the effort.

Admin, off subject, but have you considered a posting title of "Comuter Stuff"?

LOL....I'm not sure what you mean? I'm happy to post anything.....(well, almost anything). Be warned -- last night when they announced yet MORE snow coming, I threatened to pack my bags and return.....but I'm not sure you and some others will ever let me back on the island......

one think I forgot to mention -- if you don't login to the forum, and just want to read the new posts, you can do so without the pictures......it's set up so only registered, logged in users can see the photos.....

Don't know if you want to see this one......and if you want more in this series, I can send them to you on a CD.....I have about 4-5 arials.....

Admin,  sorry, misspelled.

I meant, have you considered "Computer Stuff" as a posting subject!

Yes, I am interested in the photos you have, thanks for the offer.
