Another fine day for snorkeling, enjoying the views, and stretching the body out in salt water.

Thanks All;  I just keep pressing the shutter and sometimes get a great shot.  I particularly wanted to get the reflection and depth of field and luckily did with the jelly fish.  Also, the sun was doing some great things in the water yesterday, wonderful to be there when it happens!

Serious wow factor! Your shots have gone from beginner to pro so fast, Hillman! Time to start entering some contests, we'll be cheering you on!

There IS a National Geographic contest, has to be in by October 31. Check it out at ngphotocontest.com

I agree, these shots are too much.....

A couple of times I asked Hillman for jpegs of some of his photos to use in interpretive panels for Culebra NWR cause they are so good, and he said that he only has a low res capable camera. I think we should encourage him to get a camera that has high res capability and broaden those horizons! Incredible shots Hillman!

I cannot agree more!  Wonderful shots all, but that jellyfish shot is absolutely AMAZING!!!  If that is what you can with low res, I have to agree with Teresa---imagine the possiblities!!!:D

Thanks again for the kudos, my head is big today!

MJ, nice thought but the rules do not permit PRs to submit to NG.

Who May Enter
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, United Kingdom, Canada (excluding the province of Quebec), Australia, Republic of Ireland, India, South Africa, and New Zealand who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. Employees of National Geographic Society, and its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such employees, whether or not related, are not eligible. CONTEST IS VOID IN PUERTO RICO, THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC, AND WHERE PROHIBITED.

Once again PR is excluded. Why am I not surprised. We have been treated as second class citizens for so long we don't even complain anymore. Well, sometimes (as in Anibal, the Gov, complaining about the FBI handling of the death of Filiberto Ojeda).
I spend a good amount of my time teaching the citizens of Tampa, FL that we are
US citizens like them except when we live in the island, where many of our rights are taken away. Hopefully things will change one day for the better.

Anyway, that is a beautiful shot with the jellyfish.

I haven't checked it out but it may have to do with PR's gaming laws. Some states can't enter contests either. I'll ask around.
