I'm game, but I don't think the cat will like it. :P

How do you title your links?

Laurie,

I fancy the idea of doing 31 knots with the only noise being snapping canvass - heh heh.  I'd never seen that kind of speed from a sailboat...Kind of cool seeing the sprinting wind surfers getting passed like they were standing still.  When I saw that. what ran through my mind was "I got your high-speed ferry!"

Debbie,

To do the links, highlight the title and then click on the globe(insert link) icon. Paste your link so it only has one http and hit OK. The title will now be a hotlink.  Previewing the post seems to screw it up (php bug?), so I just hit send. If it doesn't work, I edit it.  This board's software is the most advanced I've seen, in that you get a wysiwyg view in the editor instead of code. I'm guessing that adding that functionality created the bug, but the workaround is very easy.

Doug

yeah, I've had one day of sailing, years ago, that came close to that......and it's something I've been striving for ever since.

I tried to figure out a way around the links, but it seems to work best with the current settings....
