My countdown/trip ticker (from tickerfactory.com) seems to have some issues. Apparently, it doesn't count the days correctly in February, so I had to trick it to tell it I was arriving on March 11 for it to work properly.
Doug is using one that has Caribbean Mag advertising slapped all over it, although it appears to be more accurate.

I couldn't really answer the poll because truth is, sometimes I look at it, sometimes I don't. I figure...I'll see you when I see you. But that's easy for ME to say, I live here! I know what it's like to anticipate a good trip. As long as something doesn't flash at me in a blinking winking way I don't mind it

I guess it is a little obnoxious. I first saw them on traveltalkonline.com, and decided to get one for there. Its a few days ahead, because I'm visiting Tortola before coming to Culebra. The BVI board has a bit more of a Parrothead vibe than Culebra's boards. If the other posters find it a bit much, I'm happy to take it off - I assure you I know precisely how many days til then!

More like "stock up on Presidente, the human sponges are coming". It's hell when the island runs out, and over the years I've contributed my fair share to the shortfalls.
