Great news! Two dogs (mom & daughter-photo can be seen here: http://culebrablog.com/2008/03/17/zoni-beach-art-and-two-pups/ ) from the streets of Culebra have just been adopted from the St. Hubert's shelter in NJ! They were sent with a shipment of 7 dogs aprox. 2 weeks ago & yesterday found thier new family! The wonderful couple who adopted them actually first met them here in Culebra as they had stopped by the Palmetto Guesthouse to buy some Animal Welfare of Culebra T-shirts & met the mom/daughter pup-pair who were being fostered by the Palmetto's owners. Their long, traumatic trip was well worth it as they will now have super life with their new owners! Good job Animal Welfare of Culebra!
