Hey now -- it's not a pet, it's a wild animal indigenous to the woods of Maine.

I'm still laughing......never expected to see this in my driveway....

and here are the two Animal Control Officers who showed up asking me if I had seen a pig around my house.....which I hadn't. Well turns out I'm not up on my wild animal noises, because last night I heard something all night, but with the coyotes, foxes, owls, and who knows what all, I wasn't concerned.....little did I know....Miss Piggy had been loose for 2 days. The neighbors called the Animal Control gals last night at 11 to report it, but they chalked it up to a few too many beers, and weren't going to wake the neighbors up asking if they had seen a pig (that kinda thing doesn't go over really big in Maine).....has anyone ever tried to catch a hungry, fiesty piglet???? Trust me, THAT is what should have been on film....

I love it!  That is too funny!  I'm impressed little Miss Piggy survived 2 days with the coyotes around!

I am SO glad that is NOT what a sato looks like.........I think we would have a much harder time getting them adopted!

Hey Now -- she is far too cute to be lechon!!! And almost as cute as a sato -- she was bigger than both my satos (and definately faster and smarter than one of them).

I also forgot the part about me being in my pajamas still while chasing Miss Piggy....a ugly sight I'm sure for the neighbors (who were quite impressed by my lack of fear that this pig who was screaming for all the world to hear once I tackled her wasn't going to bite me).

Is it wrong that I keep trying to decide which of Island Woman's sauces to use for a marinade/baste?

MMMMMM!
