I am so sorry to say that Minnie died this week. She woke up Saturday morning with labored breathing and taken right to the vet's office. She was found to have 6 enlarged lymph nodes. Antibiotics and fluids were given, in the hopes it was an infection. By Sunday she was doing quite badly and we took her to an Emergency/Specialy Animal Hospital. We had some hope that it was indeed an infection, but got confirmation on Tuesday that it really was lymphoma. She slipped peacefully away that evening. She was a great girl and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Since I was remiss in posting pictures earlier in her honor, I will now post some in her memory. We love you Miracle Minnie!

Sue,
I am so sorry that you lost the newest member of your family. Thank you for taking Minnie in and giving her a happy life's end.
Doug

| Thanks Doug. She was the sweetest girl, we were lucky to have had her in our lives, however briefly.

Thanks Laurie. I'm sure she and my dogs would enjoy eating that flower . Pink was her color though, she looked just beautiful in it.

Thanks MJ. Alex made a really nice necklace and earring set while Minnie was in the hospital. All black and pink beads, with alphabet beads here and there spelling Minnie and M. M. for Miracle Minnie. She wore it to school for support. I thought of you.
