You might enjoy checking out a home I have tried to locate while exploring the Dallas Divide, but never quite found.  It is Dennis Weaver's "Earthship" in Ridgeway, Colorado.  Yep,  Deputy Chester Gould built himself a palace from 300,000 recycled cans and 3000 recycled tires.  And it's for sale according to this site. It's a tad beyond my means, but I'd love to get a closer look.
