Sorta like being buried in sand on a white warm beach with breathtaking colors of blue in the surf whooshing gently onto the shore...a nice cold beverage near by...

but different, huh?

No really! I was...trying to warm you up...really!

Ok, I'll go stick myself in the chest freezer for an hour or so to punish myself for being cruel. Really! I will. Just wish it would freeze better, it's so darn warm in here...

Beachbound, this may be a news flash, but Island Woman in particular, but others as well, are very cruel when it comes to our weather......all I've heard from today on Culebra from two people is how "windy" it is.......jeeezzzzzzz...

BUT, here's a news flash from my side of the country......it's almost shorts and sandals weather!!!!!!  Yipppppppeeee  -- look -- 4 straight days with no snow forecast!!!!  and a heatwave in the mid 30's!  Those tulips will be here before I know it.:D

Hey, if being cruel gets that kind of response from you, I'm only warming up (er...no pun intended...really).

Bring it on MJ!!  This was actually a pretty fun weather event here.  EVERYTHING was cancelled for the whole weekend and we were well stocked with food and drinks, didn't lose power and rather enjoyed it all (but then again, I wasn't the one out there plowing the driveway every couple hours!).  No complaints here!  My only weather complaints are usually mud seasons because of the dogs---yuck!!

We are going to attempt some sledding this afternoon, which ought to be pretty funny until we can get the snow packed down!  :D

Mud is nasty, mud is slick, I do not like that mud so thick.

Glad you were all stocked up and can see the good in it. I know it's been a long LONG winter for everyone.
To the west of you, I talked to my grandkids today and they were going outside to play, saying the snow is almost all melted. I wished I'd thought of this before but on Google Earth I can see their yard! I told them next year if they get that much snow they could build a giant snowman I could see from outer space (the satellite, not me, hush!).
Hang in there...flower buds are pushing their way up....but in the meantime, enjoy this.

Thanks for the burst of color MJ!  I think that is why all this fresh snow isn't so bad to see, it's such a bright, pure white after a winter of grey and brown :P.  Now I have to go check out our house on Google Earth :D.  How much snow did the grandkids get?  I'm glad they could get out and enjoy it before it all melts away.  We got enough snow to go up to my knees, but I'm, um...well....not tall.

Yep, definitely not up to date.  More than a year old here, we can tell by construction.  I don't think MJ's snowman idea will work, but it could be worth a shot! It also marks our address as 3 houses down from where we are.  BTW Admin, you look great!!
