A wondrous bird the pelican
His beak holds more than his bellycan
He can hold in his beak enough food for a week
But I sure don't know how in the hellhecan
I loves me some brown pelicans in Culebra, and I loves me some white pelicans in Missouri. Also, some bald eagles and trumpeter swans, all snapped on our outing to the Riverlands sanctuary in West Alton, MO, yesterday.

Wonderful shots. I love the eagle... Late afternoon I was watering the garden when a hummer came by...those suckers are fast! But I like it

| I love Puerto Rican hummers. They dwarf our ruby throats, and are less shy of human proximity. Here's one more pelican shot...with a tern buddy. Attachment: K800_pelicans on water.JPG (Downloaded 39 times)
