That is so terrible! I'm sure Zuleyma is beside herself with worry. Please keep us updated if possible, and hopefully he is fixed up by now and there won't be any permanent damage.
Admin, if it helps, here is how most Browns fans deal with continuous heartbreak from their team losing: Expect the worse, hope for the best, and in the end, blame management. It may be too late for steps 1 and 2, but you can still jump in on the last step! (Hmm, may I suggest Belichick??)
Frank, sorry to accuse you of being a Browns fan! I just figured if you could hang out with Mike during football season, then.......

Jeebus...this is not good.
Can I suggest that we publish Steve's full name for check writing purposes, Neil's PO Box, address, and that we start a fresh thread with a sticky to give this more exposure.

Doug-
That is an excellent idea. Most folks (including myself) wouldn't know where EXACTLY to send a check and the EXACT name to make it out to ... let's make it easy to help out!

I really like the forecast *wintry mix*. It sounds like something on a menu. May I suggest you figure out and prepare a wintry mix and let us know how it goes?
p.s. All the info for Steve is on the Steve post - many thanks for the good wishes and responses!

| Here it means lots of ice will accumulate on your trees and power wires, so stay out from under them. Usually, there are major power outages - no big deal except for the one last winter when it was out for as much as 2 weeks for some. Mother in law and sister in law moved in with us for 5 days. Only issue was deaf MIL watching TV until 230 am with volume pinned!

Huh...I was thinking of something more like this (and I really like this site! Talk about covering a subject...)
http://www.foodfit.com/healthy/healthyWinterFoods.asp
used with something like this...
http://www.taunton.com/finecooking/menus/winter-bistro-dinner.aspx
Seems more fun!

the only problem with your yummy idea is that it involves getting to the grocery store. And in a Wintry mix, you must first bundle up with 5 layers, put on the boots, and shovel your way out the door. Then you must carefully, and I mean VERY carefully make your way to the car across the ice without falling. This takes determination, coordination and grace that I don't always have. Then you need to dig the car out. Then you carefully and cautiously drive to the grocery store and do your shopping.
So you think that is it? Nope!! not done yet. Now you need to drive home, without an idiot on the road slidding into you, and then carefully, and now I mean REALLY, REALLY, REALLY carefully, get your grocery bags out of the car and across the ice and into the house -- now falling would be double danger.......and trust me, the grace needed goes right out the window as you're dragging grocery bags in.
now you can relax and cook dinner.....that is, if you have elecricity or haven't broken a leg getting to dinner time.
any more questions?

What is the number to order pizza?
But back in the land of no such thing as a wintry mix described with such shuddering eloquence above...
Being Fat Tuesday, Kevin up at Bahia Marina is making a crawfish boil!!!! Along with some other goodies, but I'm going for the crawfish! I'm sure we'll all be wearing warm clothes as it will be windy & cold up there *cough*.

pizza takeout in rural Maine???? LOL......it would be like calling Heather and asking her to deliver --- I'd get the exact same response.
Kevin??? Crawfish???? I can't quite get my mind around that one. Our Kevin is cooking?? Crawfish???
shall I send you a pair of mittens?

and here she is breathing a big sigh of relief (note she hasn't stopped dancing the entire time).....and getting ready to follow James in a large conga line right out the front door of the club onto Main Street, Rockland, Maine......and I'm sure he would have gone on playing his guitar out there if it hadn't been so cold!!

Oh what a joy to STUMP THE GIRL!!! Not that Kevin..though he was there tonight and...ok...I'll load 'em up. Can only say it was all good. Even our old familiar Kevin. He scares me so bad when he's so nice..and the new Kevin is just purely nice. Yikes!
Well, gee...(as I loaded the pictures..) I don't have the nice Kevin, the *other* Kevin, the Jose hustling me from my bad parking that screwed up the whole world at Bahia Marina...I only have...these two! Go figure.
First...a lovely table of lovely people who make Culebra a time in their winter and a time of grins and oh joy for us who miss them the rest of the year. Don't they look...normal??
