I just got back from hearing Obama speak to a standing room only crowd of 10,000 (that is a lot of people in Maine in between major snow storms) in Bangor (almost 3 hour drive). What an incredible afternoon -- if I wasn't already convinced he's the candidate that will do the best job for our country, I sure was after hearing him speak.....and my heart was warmed by the thousands of young people that turned out to support him -- this coming election is going to be a very different story than ones in recent years.

Once a torch for truth is lit, people will
follow, but that is not the only light in the
universe. Another torch, for Freedom and
Democracy, is lit and now becomes a blinding
flame. We become so blinded by that flame we
cannot see who is holding it. It becomes
so blinding we cannot see the only torch
worth following - Truth. The more
populist Obama becomes the brighter
that other flame becomes. Which flame
will win, proletariat or capitalist?
On the other side of the flame is his/our
destiny. Our country just invaded a country
and killed in excess of a million people to
get the worlds oil supply, what do you think
will happen to Obama? Better start
praying for him, Kumbaya!
What an interesting year.
Republican? They already got rid of the
real Republicans...Ron Paul for one, and
Warner got old and is retiring. McCain?
Once you read his Vietnam record you will
realize what a phony he is...and scary!
Democrat? They got rid of the only real
ones..Kucinich and Edwards on the left
& Richardson and Dean in the middle.
I still believe Hillary is the annointed one.
I'm so glad I live in Culebra, sunshine,
small community, petty politics, I love it!Attachment: torch.png (Downloaded 13 times) Last edited on Thu Feb 14th, 2008 03:26 pm by Jim
