Merry Christmas = Feliz Navidad or just Felicidades

Happy Holiday, we don't really say this

Santa Claus = the same, believe it or not. Remember for us it used to be Three Kings

I guess we like more the royalty stuff, not really. It is a Christian tradition

Three Kings = Tres Reyes Magos, Three Kings Day (Jan 6) = Dia de Reyes

Arrival of Baby Jesus =  Llegada del Nino Jesus

Let me know of any topics or words you want to learn!

How do you say Happy Three Kings Day?  Does Felicidades work for New Years as well?

And does felicidades work for Happy Birthday?

Do Puerto Ricans, like Cubans, say Noche Buena for Christmas Eve?

Cuando visito a mis amigos Cubanos de Miami, para la Noche Buena, asamos un cerdo.

Sorry, Paws Nest, for butchering your lovely language...:?

Doug, you usually go to food!!!!!

Felicidades is use para todo, happy birthday, even when you win the Loto.

Noche Buena is Christmas Eve. We celebrate it BIG! We have lechon if it can be afforded. Now, we ALWAYS have pernil with pasteles, morcillas, arroz con gandules and whatever else you want. I think you know all these words. Me esta dando hambre = I am getting hungry!

the thing we need to remember about Doug are his priorities.....food is secondary to anything involved a party.:D
