Culebra is a fairly inexpensive place to vacation compared to other tropical destinations......
On a low budget, you can expect to spend around $20 per day on food -- there are many local spots and food stands with really yummy food for pennies. You can also enjoy a 5 star gourmet meal at several of spots.....and the prices vary -- but $20 would be about average for dinner. I can't think of a "bad" place to eat -- it just comes down to your budget and food tastes.
there are wonderful gift stores, with everything from postcards to Island art and jewerly (and of coarse I have to plug Island Woman's tasty hot sauces which make a perfect present or treat for yourself ).
You might want to rent a kayak or bike or go out on one of the tour boats -- all very affordable.
And the best part of it is relaxing walking the beach or under a palm tree watching the clouds go by is free!
If you like Isla Mujeres (at least in the old days), you're going to love Culebra and become one of those addicted visitors that become part of the community -- even from afar!
Hopefully you'll post a trip report here after your visit so that we can all share in your adventures!
Enjoy planning your trip!
