Ok, I think I understand that things purchased in Puerto Ricoare now taxed in 2 categories---5.5% sales tax charged by Puerto Rico, and 1.5% additional goes to Culebra itself..My question; Why does Colmado Milka charge the local tax on every single item bought there, including all food...and Superette Mayra charges no tax whatsoever for grocery items? What is going on here?
