Just got back from dinner at El Eden -- what great food and great prices (and great company)......everything was perfect, and as usual, service was with a smile and very fast......if you go, don't miss out on the riscotto!!!!! To Die For! I'm not sure if it qualifies as an appetizer or dessert.
all was dandy until the freaking BIG mango spider landed on my side of the windshield on the way home.......I'm not getting back into the car until daylight, and it took every ounce of courage I had to get out of the car. YUCK -- those things are so creepy crawly......the darn thing bounced off the windshield and kept on ticking......Did I say YUCK yet?????? my skin is crawling just thinking about it.

italian has always gotten the best of me (plus miss-fellow-spider-hater, I was typing that 5 minutes after being traumatized on the way home).......and have you made is successfully? I can never get the texture right....or burn the rice, or some other calamity......it was soooooooooo good....I'm hungry all over again just thinking about it.....last night, it was with sundried and fresh tomatoes....to die for.

Yum! Last time I had it there, it was mushroom (and I'm not a fan of mushrooms and I loved it). I've made it twice, and it turned out well both times. The first time, I didn't have any cheese, but I think I preferred it that way. It wasn't as creamy as in the restaurant, but I thought I made a decent couple of attempts.
We should ask gr8fuldude if he liked it. . .

You know, it's really kind of cruel to mention El Eden food and the nasty spider thing in the same post. Now my mouth is watering and my skin is crawling and my stomach flipping all at the same time!!
