Someone suggested we read the names of those buying
tickets but will be unable to attend, great Idea! Those at the
party will be signing a card. We could add the names to the
card?

The evening was a blast, well attended great mix of people.
Larry and Dolly were overwhelmed. More details in the March
issue of the Culebra Calendar. This picture is a rare glimpse
of the reclusive Rock-n-Roll Band "Father Time" which agreed
to a reunion for this benefit. FT features Richard Kriss former
lead guitarist for the Outsiders (Time Won't Let Me) and session
guitarist for the James Gang (Walk Away, Funk #49) His brother
Tommy was a founder. The ticket price (15.00) included great
food supplied by local restuarants and Mixed drinks and beer!

Glad to hear it was such a good time and everyone had fun!!!! I on the other hand, am headed back to Maine literally with a huge blister on my lower lip from tasting so many hot sauces at the three day National Fiery Foods Show here in New Mexico -- I had a blast......no pun intended, and found some great new sauces (although nothing as good as Island Woman's) -- but missed being part of the party honoring two very special people dear to my heart....

I forgot to mention the Father Time original lineup included
Chris Watley pictured here. Chris performed an impressive drum
solo Saturday Night. The original Bass player was Aramis
Alburqueque then Gil Vega (Popo), son of Myrna of the Post Office.

Here's a picture with Chris' face, sorry. I will post a picture of
Larry and Dolly later. Laurie, love that hat, looks really striking
on you! Could this be the beginning of a new era? Remember
the "looks like a Laurie Knowlton number" era. For those of you
unfamiliar, Laurie looked great in a thin-strap little cocktail
dress and wore them "like they were going out of style" (which
is an old expression) and it became her signature look. How about
the little cocktail dress with the hat. Maybe too much heat\
for Culebra.

I am so sorry I didn't get to the party...my back had gone out and I had this very vivid picture of myself eating and drinking and then thinking dancing and singing (yes, Richard, I would have been singing) would be a brilliant idea...so I cheered from home while my back healed. I've heard great reports though!

Island Woman -- I'm so sorry about your back -- I was flat out when I got back to Maine for almost 3 weeks -- have you tried floating in the salt water? It really does help, as it takes all the pressure off the back and naturaly supports your body.

Jim -- very funny -NOT. As I've aged, I just can't wear the skinny sundresses anymore without people running and screaming, so the saucy cowgirl is the new look, and I'm loving it.

:D

Luckily...my back is almost all better. I floated in my bed, but salt water would have been better!
Saucy is saucy at any age or stage; you go cowgirl!
