well, this was one of those famous Culebra nights......good friends, good times, good music, and plenty of good laughs.
For some, the grand opening of Susies happened with much good food and great fun from all accounts (I know the other Culebra paparazzi were on hand to document and will be posting later), and for others like me, it started as a night to catch up with old friends of many, many moons.
then everyone went to Mamacitas for conga night, and everyone was having a good time.
my favorite dancer of the evening....

and to appease admin, I'm breaking all of my rules and posting a horrible photo of myself and a lovely bit of a friend. Somehow the parking lot of Susie's became a sort of good hang out. Everything sifts out in the end. All I can justify this with is the photo taker saying insistantly and rather forcefully...SMILE...so...(okay, admin, are we even?)

just got back from town -- all I'm going to say is there were an awful lot of folks wearing very dark sunglasses this morning and in various stages of giggles......there was even a late night venture out to the beach by a few of the younger hardy ones.....(no, that does not include Admin or Island Woman -- we're too mature for that kinda of stuff)

Looks like a great night---SO wish we could have been there!! And I think Susie does look happy, maybe it is because she is working in such a BIG kitchen!! I love the picture of you MJ, you look really happy and how can that be a horrible picture????
BTW Admin, we will gladly pay you ANOTHER $1,000,00 to email us any incriminating photos of the one birthday boy from Ohio. It is just WAY too much fun to give him a hard time.

sorry, my camera was focused on another victim, but I'm sure that Island Woman will be happy to oblige......plus she needs to make back the money she paid me to withhold certain pictures.
speaking of the birthday boy from Ohio, what happened to Mike after Mamacita's??? He was missing in action.....guess he's so old now he can't keep up.

Poor Mike! Who knows what happened after he had to go to work getting the Russians settled? I am SO bad  I'm sure we'll find out later what happened next.
Mike actually was (last I saw of him, and that was at midnight) pretty subdued...this is about the most exhuberant moment...otherwise, he was just being - well, I can't say NORMAL but he could have played it on TV.

Thanks for the photo, though it's not nearly as incriminating as we had hoped! He looks very, well......un-birthdaylike?! I'll bet all the bribe-worthy things happened after midnight when he disappeared, right Mike? I'm a little surprised he isn't on here defending himself.
