I was reading the news barely pre-dawn when the light made me look up. The air was orange gold...inside, outside, everywhere. I went out fast to get a shot of it and it was like moving through a cool sauna. After a couple of shots, it started to rain, enough to get me back inside, not enough that I regretted watering the yard earlier.
The rain only lasted a few minutes, but when it was over, the sky and air were back to grey/white clouds and blue, the water like wavery glass now.
It's the little things...

re: special effects shot - I felt the same way!!! Luckily, I talked to someone else this morning who saw it too, so I wasn't completely worried I was having a flashback from the days I used to use aspirin.
