Every once in awhile there is nothing to do but post the official SJU report. I'm leaving lots of it out but the pertinent, and most poetic bits.
The model has been consistent with the
wave peak height and time of arrival...placing it around 09z on
Thursday at around 5 meters. As waves increase...it is likely
that the high surf advisory will be upgraded to a high surf
warning later today. The coastal Flood Watch will continue and
conditions along the northern shores of the island will be
monitored closely for conditions that could merit a coastal Flood
Warning. This ocean will be intriguing to look at...but will be
mercilessly unforgiving of those who try to challenge its power.
