Adding only this...hurricane season lasts from June 1 to the end of November, so that's a BIG chunk of the year for people to not come here because there *may* be a hurricane. The odds are highest in the August - September period but...weather is weather and doesn't work with calendars. Worst case scenario, you'd be in or taken to a safe place and have a hell of a story to tell when you got home. Best case, you'll be here in the quieter months and be able to have a lot of beaches to yourselves! Of course...you will have that in May as well
