I was...pretty filthy, let's leave it at that. Oh, except to add, that is why god made bleach. But as a professional Launderian, I'm sure admin already knows that. My clothes will be waiting for her next visit.
Harley was always trying to bum a smoke from both myself and Lurker Dude, thinking she'd look way cool, until we tried to get her to inhale...she coughed demurely and wisely pointed out that she could never be President of Dog Nation if she did, so we desisted in our attempts. All she wanted was a dance. Who knew she is so out of the times she thought Slam Dancing was still cool? Freakin' Culebra dog...

lol...yup, bleach is a cure all and a fun tool.
for some reason, this story popped in my head just now -- a long time ago, a customer at the Wash & Wear Cafe tried to get the upper hand with me.....which sometimes works and other times doesn't. I decided to go for the big giggles and used bleach to tie-die his maroon briefs with bleach -- using the all-purpose smiley face with the eyes and mouth strategically placed. He never gave me trouble after that. Even continued to have me do his laundry.
Another favorite laundry story was when I donated a gift certificate for laundry services for a fundraiser being held for a friend. Bo won the certificate -- and at the time was one of Culebra's garbage collectors. Needless to say, I drew the line at doing his laundry (especially when he told me that his wife used tongs to put his laundry in the washing machine).

luckily, Lurker Dude had donated a bike maintenance certificate to the same fundraiser, and we were able to give Sita (if my memory serves me correctly) the laundry certificate, and Beau got the bike maintenance certificate instead.....and everyone was happy......but most of all me. Well, I guess Anna wasn't happy because she got stuck still doing his laundry.

And...as this seems to be in the universal wind today for Harley, you all might want to know that TODAY is Harley's 2nd birthday!!!

Harley tried real hard to have some baby chickens for her birthday treat but Mama Chicken was having none of it (nah, Harley just wanted to *play*). I know her Dad is home baking a cake for her, I told Harley just to be patient, that later on she could come down to Dinghy Dock and celebrate properly.
