She got belly rubs. She got pats. She got a mucho grande swim at Melones. She got a whole lot of not quite leftovers from Susie's. I am SOOOOO glad she is home with her Dad now. She had a fantastic birthday! And, two Lewis sightings, one at the cart, one at dinner tonight at Susie's. He is being well taken care of sans wife.

The phone call went something like this:
Debbie: Heard you went to Susie's for dinner.
Lewis: How'd you know that?
Debbie: You weren't supposed to go to Susie's without me.
Lewis: Damn! MJ must have gone straight home to spill.
Debbie: I thought you weren't going to go to Susie's without me.
Lewis: They were having a party for some dog.
Sure, change the subject. Guess he hasn't been keeping up with this thread, huh?

Important message:
Lewis, dude...
You are not to have any fun. No tan lines. Eat nothing but gruel. Floor scrubbing callouses should be thick. Trust no one. I think there might be a 4 month old Medalla in the fridge downstairs.
Yer friend,
Doug

I am still trying to figure out what he's going to eat without me there. He doesn't cook, and he won't be spending the money to eat out. I guess if he fixes enough computers and plays enough music, people will feed him in return. Of course, there's always peanut butter and tuna fish.

I have this funny feeling that he'll figure out how not to starve, and not on the handouts of the grateful. You'll be here soon, hang in there chica!

Handouts for the first two nights, but I have provisioned well and will continue to eat fresh vegetables and frutas until the KP arrives Thursday... even cooked a dinner tonite and (fortunately) had some flavorful IW hot sauce to make it palatable.
It appears I am now highly motivated to stay at home, get some work done and learn to use my new looping sound pedal - hope to break it out in public soon and should have some dates posted by mid-week.

Here is an example of the hard work done today -- this one's for you, Dougie
