While the forecast say the winds are decreasing, it also says they are not. In my bay, I haven't heard or felt the gusty winds of the last couple of mornings, and the sun is shining in a pale, slightly post dawn.
Rain chances are fairly high, but the radar makes it look like we're fairly clear. Of course, that means...not a whole lot.
If I sound confused, try it from the experts:
Ample sunshine and daytime heating allowing for enhancement of winds along the coastlines
into the 20-25+ knots range past few days...and this will continue
again today...and possibly Sunday...despite the general decreasing
trend. |

Here is what I do know! The ferry office isn't answering the phone, so I can't say what's going on with that.
And, after 5 1/2 years, my from-a-seed mango tree is blooming! This poor tree has hung in after many traumas and I'm so excited! Now, will it really bear fruit? Stay tuned.

| My source says no passenger ferries today and cargo ferry is problematical -- you may have noticed that the food delivery trucks were still on the island early this morning.... Weather discussion, updated just a little while ago, suggests the seas might start laying down tomorrow morning -- gradually.

congrats on hopefully-baby-mango to be!!!! who needs food deliveries when you can grown your own!
