First, a repeat but for those who don't know or forgot. Invests, the numbered 'areas of interest' rotate from 90 to 99 and roll over again. The letter L is for the location of the Atlantic (E is for the Pacific, and look them up, I don't remember the why of it at the moment). So...

99L (which was 98L until it disappeared) is getting better organized, but by all rights should curve up north and out of any danger areas to land. It's already far north enough for us to almost say bye bye.

90L is located about 375 miles south west of the Cape Verde islands, but looked good enough to label. It isn't doing much now but has the potential, because of its location and the warmer waters coming up, to be a player to watch.

There is also 91L in the Gulf of Mexico, but we'll stick to the tropics, as, first, it's where I live and what I write about and second, I imagine most of you have televisions and can watch the hoopla which will already be starting I'm sure, due to this system and its potential.

This is a very active season so far, and I hope, a very strong reminder to be prepared. If you aren't already, get your butts in gear, hear?

Just for an overview...the yellow means low potential for development at this time, orange means medium. Red...well, we don't wanna see red anywhere close to us! Ignore the numbers, they are for descriptions below, which if it gets lots more interesting for us, I'll post (or let you know where you can find them yourself if you are interested).

Another day, another forecast...90L seems to be bombing at present, 99L is hanging in. Much better than the other way around!

As changed as our morning weather, where the sun is brightly shining, a slight breeze is in the air and heat is snuffing out the relative coolness of the early hours.

Another day in Paradox; happy Sunday!
