One of those picture perfect sunrises...a bit of breeze and temps warmer by about 8 degrees from previous recent mornings. The days have been much warmer as well. Of course, those coming from near to sub zero temps are loving it. I was holding out for a bit more *winter* weather. Of course, it could switch around again...and maybe bring some rain with it (hint, hint, universe).
The official weather info is that we *could* have isolated showers but less than a 20 % chance of rain. Fairly useless info as far as encouraging about any rain. I'd go for some overcast though...

Yesterday afternoon, walking home, a friend driving by the other way stopped, reached into a cooler and handed over a beautiful fish filet. "How much for this?? (happy to pay for such a prize)?" "It's a present, enjoy." I just happened to have an empty bag. A slight detour to Genesis for some charcoal and a stick of butter and home to the grill. In less than an hour the fish of the day was hot and flaky on my plate, buttered, peppered and salted and making my tongue happy.  I definitely enjoyed.
Culebra...gotta love it!

Well, the Hurricane Hunters may be out of commission, but at least we will be able to count on the I.W.S.W.A. (Island Woman's Spicy Weather Alerts)javascript:emoticon(':D', 'images/emoticons/big_grin.gif')

A fondness for acronyms...even when they are a mouth full! Love you, bro!

Thanks Doug. While I know a picture is worth a thousand words, you'll still be stuck with a few dozen of mine.

For some reason, the mosquitos are REALLY bad right now. I have no idea why as it's been dry as a buried bone. There is a hummingbird zzz'ing around, last sip of the day I suppose. Magic light time has passed, my psycho landlord has launched and gone sailing, I didn't catch any fish off my dock though they were well fed on Joe's pincho. Sneaky, they are.
I used my earring lure as a lure...and the bas....clever things took it!!! I'll have to tell Chris, maker of flies and my earring. Dang!

I was just gonna say - if you had a camera, you could show us the beautiful sunsets! Yay - I'm glad it's on the way.

her camera will be there hopefully on Wednesday or Thursday, and I've sent it to her fully loaded and ready to shoot, so she has NO excuse not to immediately shoot and post.

her poetic words together with fantastic photos will be a pleasure to see!!

None at all.  Just go to your happy place and let the pen fly.
