Jeebus.  I missed this thread earlier.  When I saw the TD report on the news I wondered why.  Anyway, in the "not helpful, yet true" department  I heard from Debbie and Lewis on Saturday, seeking suggestions on a Fajardo dining spot (I'm worthless in that capacity).  No discussion of estimated debarkation time to Culebra.

I saw Debbie and Lewis yesterday...in my yard in fact where Lewis tasted his first genipe...and loved it! They were leaving today. Of course, now the sun is shining...

This will be, hopefully, the last post on 93L as far as Culebra goes, because the sun IS shining! The sat loop does look like it could possibly rain again but I could be seeing it wrong and hope that is the case. Because if it looks like I think it looks, the system is moving somewhat EASTERLY as it moves somewhat SOUTH. So I think I'm wrong!

As I told a friend on Monday, surely the sun will come out about 11:00 am on Tuesday as we are leaving, and it DID! Reading these threads makes me kind of glad I was somewhat oblivious to the storm. We would have been glued to the internet, had we had access, with the potential to ruin what was left of our vacation. We really did have a good time, weather notwithstanding. We were very lucky - we were on the 9am ferry to Culebra on Sunday morning (the only one that ran that day), and the sky cleared just in time for our flight to Fajardo this morning at 11:00. There was no weather on the big island by the time we got there - - we had time for lunch at The Brass Cactus, and our flight to ATL left early and landed early, and Miss Cleo is a happy camper.
