Yesterday I closed the cart very early, due to the mosquitos refusal to give in to spray, citronella smoke or cursing. Last night they were still pretty bad. This morning they seem to have eased off about 2% - a rating given by how much of the gardens I got watered before being forced back inside.
The sun is out and bright with a milky sky and small breeze. Maybe today I'll take Sean's advice and try the long sleeve shirt and long pants, so I can sweat a lot while being eaten up.
Or maybe this will be a Closed Day. I have a bag full of mangos that I'm hoping will ripen up quickly to get some Manaya Heat cooked up. Should have taken the pagan part of May Day and said a little hoodoo voodoo over them...I always forget that stuff!
There is a beautiful blonde hanging around my place again lately. He likes to come up to the window and scare the hell out of me with his snuffling around in the new greens now available on aisle Chez Shack. As long as he doesn't eat my baby trees...
