:dude:On Sunday your charming/delightful/wonderful/whatever ADMIN will be participating in a 24 hour telethon to raise money for her local TV station.   She will be in a contest with the station president/manager to see who craters first in a hot sauce contest.   Admin will be appearing in a costume noteworthy enough to send Frankenstein home on Halloween.    And if she loses (which I am betting she will) she will be dunked in a tank of freezing Maine water -- in front of TV cameras for all to applaud (?laugh at?).

Since the Culebra Forum doesn't yet have live video, you'll just have to imagine  this cosmic performance.   PERHAPS someone will post a photo.:dude:

:shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:

Admin has to get through tomorrow without getting arrested first -- I'll be marching in a peace rally with the Indigo Girls to the Bush summer home in Kennebunkport. Be sure to watch the national news (just not on FOX TV).

I'm sure someone will be around taking pictures -- our station manager is going to be wearing a Borat bathing suit and is known for being crazier than Admin. My costume is "hot" compared to his -- the only other clue I'll give is Island Woman would be perfect in this outfit, and maybe I'll bring it south with me this winter and we can model it in person:D

if anyone out there likes me, please pray for hot weather -- Admin is just dreading going into a dunk tank, let alone filled with Maine water.

I'm leaning toward getting arrested. It sounds like the costume could do the trick if the peace march doesn't.
Someone is going to have a video camera and this will be on YouTube, just you wait and see! And you can really wait a long time to see me in a hot sauce inspired costume...I remember what Amy wore and it ain't happenin' with me!

And, it's not that I don't like you, but a dunk in icy water might just be what toughens you up for the winter weather "just around the corner." (or gives you bronchitis, so you can be in bed all winter). We could fly Glen up there and put him in the costume...he'd win!

LOL.....you and I are in the same age group, so we don't do so well in the outfits that go on the Amys of the world.....trust me, this covers all those not-so-pretty areas....

I'd love to have Glen on my team tomorrow -- that would ensure I would not be getting dunked......tell him I'll buy the lobster.

!. Ring Doorbell

2. Place FLAMING bag of dog Poo on front Stoop

3. RUN AWAY to a hiding spot at a Safe Distance

4. Plant huge "Bring em' Home NOW" sign in yard

5. TAKE LOTS of pictures of W Stomping out Flaming Bag of Dog POO.

6. prepare for Telethon while giggling about look on W's Face with flaming Dog Poo on foot knowing you have WON already!

Well, I made it without getting arrested (noone was). What an emotional day -- over 5,000 marchers for an 8 mile march. I'll post a couple pictures in a little while (and Yes, there is one of Admin).

There was so much emotion, love, and tears involved in today.....from the father who set himself on fire in front of the 3 Marines who showed up at his door to announce his son's death on his birthday three years ago today, and after surviving severe burns over most of his body, has spent the last two years driving around the country in his pickup truck with a coffin inside and his son's funeral pictures on the side. on the tailgate next to the coffin, are his son's boots. Then you had the peace sign made on the lawn with one hundred shoes from war victims -- including little baby shoes. Tied to each pair is the victim's name, age and cause of death. And the full size bus carrying Iraq veterns around to peace protests.....

But the day was also filled with lots of hugging (what do you do when a parent is carrying pictures of his or her dead children) and laughter as well.....and it was very emotional driving home on Route 95 and having cars honking and giving peace signs to each other.

The Indigo Girls played a great set.....
