In light of the loss of Nancy, which I was unaware of last night - we spoke briefly of her poor health, but somehow, it seemed impossible that she'd not really be back here in a month or so - the balance of everything is strong right now.
Our Thanksgiving party was wonderful, many people, much food, laughter and sense of our small and close community. Which of course, is what makes it so wrenching when one is taken from it forever whose place was strong.
A glass to raised to Nancy, with thanks. And to Harold and family, with the arms of all who embrace you from here.
