Daphne Marie Padrón McCarthy, born June
8th, 11:19am, 6lbs 9oz, 20" long at the
Ashford Presbyterian Community Hospital
in San Juan.
Proud new mommy and daddy are Luis Padrón and
Racquel McCarthy (of Vacation Planners)

Offhand I think thats Rachel, but someone correct me
please.
Racquel definitely is a pretty dark haired girl that has
worked and now manages Vacation Planners on the
dock. She and Luis (Cayo Norte Water Taxi and
bartender at Heather's) have been together for
a couple of years now.

Rachel is Miguel's sister, and has an adorable baby boy. She, Dad and bambino were just here for a few months but are now back in the states.
Raquel is/was from Montana, no relation 
Mike told me he was going to take pics and email them to me...gotta give that boy a call.

| Thanks for the clarification, MJ. Going back to my "Monika's first language is not English" post - I sometimes get names/pronunciations wrong if I am introduced by Monika. Sometimes it takes me a while to figure it out! I think Lewis saw Rachel in April, but I did not. In fact, I was accused by some of hiding out since I wasn't seen much. We've got to quit dragging guests with us - LOL!

Oh! Thanks for getting the picture! She looks like the beauty of her Mama & Daddy's eyes. Did I bet anyone on the 'it's gonna be a girl' thing? Just drop your money by the cart...if I ever get back there.

Gotta love Culebra...yesterday while at the cart, Lewis, Raquel and Daphne drove by...well, tried to drive by. At the same time, three women were going to lunch and "Baby sighting!" stopped traffic, one of whom was a policeman, who patiently waited while cooing and congratulations went on, one of the women saying to the policeman, "We've got the new baby here!" He finally drove up on the grass to go around, grinning. The general concensus of all who have seen Daphne is that she is absolutely a Raquel clone. What a beauty!

This is Daphne, working on her very own cell phone, for Vacation Planners, natch. I hear Mike has her on a *until she's interested in boys* contract.
Or it might have just been mala Tia MJ poking her while she was trying to sleep. But I'm almost sure I saw a cell phone.
