Camping on Culebra Island

Flamenco Beach offers the only camping area on Culebra Island. The grounds are managed by the government. Upon arrival, you will be required to register at the Culebra camp ground office, and pay a fee of $20 for your camping spot. You can contact the Culebra Flamenco Camp ground Office at 787-742-0700 to make reservations in advance, this is usually not necessary, however is a good idea during holidays and the spring break season.

You can find everything you need while camping on Culebra Island, so you can arrive with nothing more than a backpack. There are shower and bathroom facilities available. It is easy to find something to eat, there are many kiosks serving food and beverages. You can also bring food if you wish, but the only cooking allowed is by using one of the barbecue pits scattered  throughout the camping area. Tents are even available for rent at Tent City, which is located with the food and beverage kiosks. Reserving a tent is recommended, and you can reach them at 787-226-0232.
